Pushkar, the sacred town, welcomed the Hindu New Year (Nav Samvatsar) with a series of grand religious ceremonies and floral decorations at the Brahma Temple. Devotees gathered to witness the divine flower bungalow (Phool Bangla) and the saffron adornment of Lord Brahma, marking the beginning of the auspicious year with devotion and celebration.

Special Worship and Rituals at Brahma Temple
The festivities began in the Brahma Muhurat with a Shodashopachara (16-step worship) and Panchamrit Abhishek of Lord Brahma and Goddess Gayatri. The temple was adorned with fragrant and colorful flowers, creating a mesmerizing floral bungalow where the idol of Lord Brahma was decorated in an exquisite saffron attire.
The celebrations continued throughout the day with:
• Morning Special Prayers: Traditional ritualistic worship and milk anointment of the deity.
• Afternoon Phag Mahotsav: A grand festival of devotional music and Holi festivities, filling the temple with joy and spirituality.
• Evening Maha Aarti and Chhappan Bhog: The temple priests conducted a magnificent 56-offering (Chhappan Bhog) ceremony, followed by a sacred Maha Aarti, illuminating the temple premises with divine light.
Renowned local bhajan singers captivated the audience with soulful renditions of devotional songs, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere for devotees.

As part of the Hindu New Year celebrations, the evening witnessed a spectacular Maha Aarti at Pushkar Sarovar, organized by religious groups and spiritual leaders. The ceremonial worship of the holy lake included:
• Sacred rituals and milk offering (Dugdh Abhishek) at the Sarovar.
• Grand Aarti at Jaipur Ghat, led by priests in the presence of devotees, saints, and religious leaders.
• Illuminating lamps (Deepdaan) on the waters of Pushkar Lake, symbolizing the blessings of the divine for the new year.
